We woke up this morning to news of a train derailment in downtown Douglasville
With my New Years resolution of trying to remember to carry my camera everywhere I decided to take a look on my way to work without realising quite how big a mess I would encounter

The images below were shot at around 8am in the morning of the 4th January, decided to return later in the evening to see how the clean-up operation was going. In the evening the police would not allow me access to the trackside - quite understandable really
