We woke up this morning to news of a train derailment in downtown Douglasville
With my New Years resolution of trying to remember to carry my camera everywhere I decided to take a look on my way to work without realising quite how big a mess I would encounter

The images below were shot at around 8am in the morning of the 4th January, decided to return later in the evening to see how the clean-up operation was going. In the evening the police would not allow me access to the trackside - quite understandable really

latest slideshow may have got me some work

At one of the local camera groups in Douglasville I showed a slideshow I'd created in Aperture only to a have a local news website editor see it and approach me about taking photos for them - hopefully something will come of it.....  To see it for yourself try clicking the photo below

In March 2008 a friend of mine decided it was time to get that full back tattoo that he had always wanted - you know that one, the British Bulldog riding a very big motorbike.
This process had been going on for several weeks and I had been promising to come along to the tattoo parlour (Big Time Custom Tattoos of Douglasville) and photograph one of the final weeks, so I did and this video captures those somewhat painful moments.
